HVAC Floater Technician
The Facility Maintenance Floater Technician 1 is a multi-craft technician with five (5) or more years of experience that is knowledgeable in all facets of commercial and industrial maintenance, able to exhibit proficiency in HVAC maintenance and repair, and two or more of the following; Electrical, Plumbing & Mechanical, Pipefitting, Building Automation Controls, Water/Wastewater Treatment, Fire Detection/Suppression Systems, Carpentry, Machining, Welding & Fabrication, Sheetmetal Work. The Floater position is a key component for the FM2 team so that planned absences at site-based client sites can be covered effectively. Candidate MUST be able to successfully pass drug screen, background and motor vehicle records checks. Travel outside the Nashville area is required approx.. 20% of the time. Candidate must also be willing to be on call.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Be an ambassador for Lee Company & foster good client relationships
- Adhere to all Lee Company and Client policies and procedures
- Promote safety at all times
- Install, Maintain & Troubleshoot HVAC equipment
- Carry out Corrective Maintenance plan as directed by Supervisor
- Communicate status of all systems and pending issues to Supervisor
- Properly track and document handling of all refrigerant and other regulated/restricted substances per local, state and federal laws.
Education and Experience Required
- High School diploma, GED, or equivalent and (5) five years experience on a maintenance team in an industrial, commercial or manufacturing environment is required.Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
- Successful candidate must possess HVAC refrigerant handling certification relevant to the position. LLE electrical license is desired.
