Job Description
Ryan Companies US, Inc. has a career opportunity for a Project Assistant out of our SouthWest regional Hub for a project located in Renton, WA (suburb of Seattle). We are seeking a highly motivated individual with 3-5 years strong administrative experience to join and support a fast-paced construction team. 2+ years experience in construction a definite plus!
Specific duties include: Acting as liaison between a Project Manager and subcontractors or other members of the team, general administrative duties related to projects, internal and external customer assistance and service, manage all aspects of Shop Drawing and Design Document processes with supervision of the Project Manager, create and distribute permit documentation, draft subcontracts and change orders for PM review, create and maintain RFI log, manage subcontractor insurance and registration process, manage project-specific invoicing, assist with pay-application process, maintain web-based project management system, assist team with RFP requests as required, manage project closeout process including punch-list data-entry and creation and distribution of O & M manuals.
Successful candidates will have a high level of professionalism, ability to communicate proficiently, both verbal and written, strong attention to detail, proven customer service skills, ability to prioritize and be flexible in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities, willingness to collaborate with a team to accomplish goals, and ability to adapt to advancing technology. Must have strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Experience with construction management and accounting software systems is highly preferred.
