Job Overview and Responsibilities:

Sales Support is the engine that keeps Climatec running. Our Sales Support team manages all the behind the scenes steps necessary to take a prospect from an initial meeting through to project completion. To be a member of our sales support team, candidate must be a self-starter, intuitive thinker, problem solver, and a highly driven individual. Candidate must maintain poise under high pressure and be excellent at managing multiple projects with conflicting deadlines.

 

Strong written communication is an absolute must as writing proposals is a top priority for Sales Support, with technical writing capabilities being a large plus. Proficiency using the Microsoft suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and Adobe suite to create proposals and customer presentations will be weighed heavily when selecting a candidate. Be prepared to show a portfolio or examples of your work. Primary responsibilities include:

 

  • Maintain a working knowledge of products and services, manufacturers, and customers represented by Climatec
  • Maintain working knowledge of the Performance Contracting Industry
  • Manage the creation of Energy Audits and Assessments for energy savings projects
  • Work with various departments to filter input and collaborate with Marketing Manager to improve overall branding
  • Maintain database of project templates & proposal elements
  • Manage trade show participation including promotional items, marketing collateral, and face-to-face interaction with our industry’s heavy hitters

Skills & Qualifications:

  • 4 year degree (or on-track to graduate) preferably in Sustainability, Business & Marketing, or Engineering, however other majors will be considered for the right candidate.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), Adobe Creative Suite a plus
  • Portfolio or examples of past proposals and marketing documents
  • Ability to work with many different personalities and various departments
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Professional demeanor and strong work ethic
  • Ability to perform well under high pressure and simultaneous deadlines
  • Ability to think on feet and respond to changing demands from all departments

 

Compensation

Depending on the candidate, Climatec will be offering either a full time position or a PAID 90-day internship with the intent to offer a full time position pending a satisfactory 90-day internship review.
