Job Description

Ryan Companies US, Inc. has a career opportunity for a Vice President of Development with a focus on the office and industrial work. This opportunity is available in our Austin, TX office. We are seeking highly motivated individuals with 10+ years’ proven success in senior level business development within the office/industrial sector.

This position reports to the regional President and responsibilities will include establishing and maintaining Ryan’s brand as a nationally-recognized office/industrial market sector expert, strategically pursuing regional development and construction opportunities within the office/industrial sector, leading project pursuit and sales presentations for all major projects, developing and maintaining marketing and sales strategies, building and nurturing on-going customer relationships at the executive level, and jointly developing the annual revenue and profit goals.

Successful candidates will have advanced knowledge and proven ability to sell, develop, and manage design and construction of facilities, be recognized as an expert in the industry with a proven track record of establishing and maintaining positive customer relationships, proven financial skills and knowledge of project costs and feasibility, and strong interpersonal communication skills.

Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in real estate development, construction management, engineering, real estate management, or related field. Advanced degree preferred.
