Job Description

Ryan Companies US, Inc. has a career opportunity for an experienced Project Manager in our Davenport, IA office. We are seeking candidates with 8-10+ years of successful Design Build and commercial project management experience. 

Specific duties include: participation or leadership of owner/client sales presentations and negotiations, lead overall design development, budget preparation, and project schedule, supervise a team of Project Managers and Project Assistants as necessary based on assigned projects, prepare bid documents, negotiate and award subcontracts, full responsibility for overall communication, including jobsite coordination meetings and job status reports, conduct project close-out duties, including final cost, punch list, final billing, and final collection of fees. Successful candidates will assume responsibility and communicate effectively with superintendents, general contractors, subcontractors, governing authorities and owners. This position will require some travel.

Successful candidates will have a bachelor’s degree in construction engineering and/or construction management, 8-10+ years proven commercial construction experience in a design-build commercial construction environment, and proven people management and leadership skills, including the ability to effectively provide direction and mentor others individually and as a team. Must have ability to communicate proactively and effectively, be customer focused, and display a high level of professionalism, honesty, and integrity at all times.
