We are looking for representatives to work out of their home and provide excellent customer service via in-bound telephone calls (includes upsell/cross-sell offers). Continually performs and meets performance standards of this position. Candidate must live live within 50-mile radius of Harlan, Iowa and provide a clean, safe, and noise-free environment.
Minimum connectivity requirements of a broadband connection with minimum download speed of 1.5mbps will be the responsibility of the employee.
Customer Service Representative
Receives and responds to verbal inquiries and/or complaints by telephone while providing account maintenance for a variety of CDS client's customers. Continually performs and meets performance standards of this position.
Job Responsibilities
- Maintains confidentiality of CDS Global and its client's proprietary information.
- Receives and interprets verbal customer inquiries and/or complaints by telephone and responds to customer verbally using terminals and PCs while performing searches/look-ups and account maintenance to customer accounts according to established departmental policy and work flow priorities.
- Determines the best method to assist customer and resolve problems to ensure customer satisfaction, according to department guidelines and/or client specifications.
- Displays friendly, courteous and professional behavior to customers.
- Works in a cooperative and professional manner, with all levels of employees, vendors and/or clients.
- Adheres to CDS Global attendance policies; reports to work station as directed by management.
- Follows all CDS Global ergonomic and safety policies.
- Works unsupervised in home
- Work area must be set up to be ergonomically correct.
- Must be able to attend training sessions at CDS Global in Harlan, IA.
Job Qualifications
- Prior experience working with the public preferred.
- Typing – 20 wpm.
- 10-key experience preferred.
- Basic to Intermediate verbal and written skills.
- Fluent, English/Spanish communication skills (written and oral) also desired but not required.
- Basic to Intermediate math skills.
- Basic PC Knowledge/Skills.
- Reacts professionally to changes while remaining productive.
- Occasionally to routinely uses the internet to find information and do basic research for business purposes.
Paid training in our facility for a minimum of 6 weeks.
Training hours are Monday - Friday 8:30am - 4pm
Various work schedules available between the hours 10 a.m. - 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
This position is a non benefited position.
Starting Pay: 11.55/hour
