 SUMMER INTERN

Mechanical Engineer:  This student will work for engineering or maintenance under the direction of a staff engineer.  The candidate should have completed 2 years of mechanical engineering studies.  The ideal candidate would have knowledge in Microsoft office products and CAD.  The work would include simple mechanical design, hydraulics, pneumatics or mechanical component specifications and selection.  Completion of classes in machine design, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, heat transfer and basic metallurgy would be helpful.

Electrical Engineer:  This student will work for engineering or maintenance under the direction of a staff engineer. The candidate should have completed 2 years of electrical engineering studies. The ideal candidate would have knowledge in Microsoft office products and CAD.  The work would include simple circuit design and troubleshooting of electrical circuits.  Electrical component specification, sizing, ordering and overseeing installation will be required.  Completion of classes in circuit design, various programming languages, PLC programming, DC and AC circuits and hi voltage power would be helpful.

Metallurgical or Material Engineer:  This student will work for process engineering or manufacturing quality engineering under the direction of a staff engineer.  The candidate should have completed 3 years of metallurgical or material engineering.  The ideal candidate would have knowledge in Microsoft office products.  The work would include performing process review, data collection and analysis, performing experimentation and report generation.  Completion of classes in heat transfer, thermodynamics, metallurgy and laboratory analysis of metals would be helpful.
