We are currently seeking well-qualified individuals to fill skilled crew member positions on our team.  Successful candidates will have verifiable experience and strong understanding of auger boring, pilot tube, tunnel boring machine (TBM), or horizontal directional drilling (HDD) operations. 

Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) – Class A with experience hauling flatbed and/or permitted load operation is preferred. 

Pipe welding and/or pipe laying experience is also helpful.

Responsibilities:

Position reports weekly (on Monday) to company office located in Exeter, Nebraska.

We are a specialty trenchless utility contractor using methods such as auger boring, tunneling, directional drilling, pilot tube, micro-tunneling and pipe ramming. Successful teammates are team players, reliable, self-starters, and responsible. As a member of our team your responsibilities will include:

  • Loading and transporting materials and equipment to various jobsite locations.
  • Assisting in jobsite setup.
  • Operating specialized construction equipment and vehicles, safely, productively and according to company policy.
  • Maintaining and submitting accurate paperwork (timecards, logbook, etc.).
  • Learning new skills and techniques on a continual basis and passing that on to others.
  • Mentoring new employees.
  • Working safely at all times. 

 

Requirements:

  • Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL Class A preferred)
  • Welding background required - certifiable for AWS D1.1 structural welding, preferred.
  • Prefer experience in operation of utility construction equipment.
  • Must be self-motivated and driven to learn and take on new challenges.
  • Reliable and prompt.
  • Professional demeanor with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Work outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Travel overnight Monday through Friday.
  • Work weekends as needed during periods of high demand.
