Optimum Energy Design is a growing design firm and is looking to hire several organized, timely, and respectful HVAC Engineers/Designers of all levels to design and manage commercial projects. 

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:

• Design of commercial HVAC systems

• Coordination with architect and other disciplines

• Attend meetings and field surveys as required during design

• Support project construction including working with review of submittals and RFI’s

• Learn all software programs utilized in the day-to-day business operations of the company.

• Other duties as assigned.

Required Characteristics:

• Must be proficient in AutoCAD (REVIT and LEED knowledge a major plus).

• 3+ years experience in mechanical engineering/design is required (5+ preferred).

• Strong conceptual (3-D) skills needed.

• Must have a strong work ethic and a “can-do” problem solving attitude.

• Must be an excellent listener and communicator.

• Must have current/valid California driver’s license.
