Michael and Son Services, Inc. is seeking experienced plumbers to service and repair the equipment in our customer's homes. This is your opportunity to work at one of the best places in Frederick. If you are an experienced plumber with excellent residential troubleshooting skills, we want to speak with you.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Addressing the customer's plumbing concerns
  • Checking the customer's entire plumbing system
  • Listening to the customer, providing suggestions and accepting feedback to improve their existing system
  • Completing all necessary repairs and paperwork for those repairs

Functions:

  • Performs pipe-fitting duties; Performs necessary tests to keep plumbing and piping systems in excellent condition
  • Lays out, assembles, alters, installs and repair pipes, fitting and fixture systems such as sanitary, drainage, water supply and other systems as well as peripheral equipment
  • Performs pipe fitting duties; cut holes in walls, floors and ceilings to gain access to piping; threads, welds, solders piping systems; properly supports, fastens and insulates piping systems; codes pipes
  • Installs pipe flanges, gaskets and bolts into place. Performs piping installations, including elbows, couplings, valves and other fittings
  • Installs, changes and repairs traps, hand or motorized valves and controls
  • Clean drain lines and sanitary lines; remove blockages. Installs or replace lavatories, water closets, tubs, shower stalls, sinks, grease traps and other equipment
