What sets MAC apart from others is our collective commitment to excellence in every product we sell and every project we do.  We are currently seeking a Construction Superintendent for a Summer 2016 Internship.

The successful candidate for this role will have an uncompromising emphasis on safety excellence.

Responsibilities:

• Report to the General Superintendant.
• Ensuring safety in all that we do.
• Coordination of resources including; equipment, labor, supplies and subcontractors.
• Monitoring cost control, quality, productivity, and safety on projects.
• Customer relations including pre job meetings and reviewing/resolving punch list items.
• Setting up and tearing down traffic control for job sites.
• Training, disciplining, and providing positive reinforcement to operators, drivers, and laborers as necessary.
• Assisting crew as needed.

Skills & Qualifications:

• A demonstrated ability to lead people and manage projects.
• Valid driver license.
• Relatively clean motor vehicle report. (Applicants w/ a drug or alcohol driving offense in the last three years will not be considered. Other violations will be evaluated using our insurance company standards.)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
• Ability to work 40 – 50 hours a week including weekends.
