SUMMARY
As a Software Engineer at SuperMoney, you will be responsible for assisting in the build out of the existing web application stack as well as any future technologies. We are looking for pragmatic generalist programmers who can not only help us execute in building our application, but also have a real say in the technological direction that it goes.
KEY ACTIVITIES
Share new ideas and solutions with business people on a daily basis
Work with other remote technical staff
Maintain and enhance the current lead capture site and supporting backend processes
Develop new and improved solutions to further enable business personnel to do their jobs in an easier and more efficient way
Work with 3rd party API's to implement into our existing framework
EXPERIENCE
5+ years professional software development experience
Strong CS fundamentals and software design skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Solid experience with PHP 5.3+, Javascript, MySQL, SOA, XML, REST, JSON and Web Services
Solid experience with PHP and Javascript 3rd party frameworks (e.g. jquery, angular.js)
Solid experience with HTML5, CSS
Solid experience with WordPress installation, administration, and customization
Thorough understanding of the latest SEO practices
Experience with Google Analytics and Webmaster Tools
Working knowledge of Control Systems, specifically Git/Source Tree
Working knowledge of basic Linux Server Administration
Experience with scalable/cloud-based software platforms experience is a plus
Practical expertise in web design, application flow and development process Should write neat and flawless code
Takes a modular approach to application and database design in order to make feature additions as simple and seamless as possible
