Basic Position Summary -   Manage day-to-day human resource needs of the company with particular emphasis in Talent Acquisition and EEO Compliance.  Will also provide assistance with benefits and compensation administration, and talent development.

  • Assist Operations with Manpower planning
  • Identify Recruitment Strategies for positions
  • Sourcing Candidates
  • Post Jobs
  • Resume Review
  • Lead College Recruitment Programs
  • Lead the Intern & Co-op Initiatives
  • Design Interview plans
  • Lead Candidate Interviews
  • Lead Candidate Selection
  • Determine offer packages
  • Design, Implement and Manage Onboarding Processes
  • Conduct Interview Training Programs
  • Coordinate Social Media Activities with Marketing

Compliance

  • Lead all EEO activities
  • Ensure fair and consistent administration of HR policies
  • Provide guidance and interpretation of policies to managers and employees
  • Counsel managers and employees on employee relations concerns
  • Oversees the exit interview process

Talent Development

  • Assist with the Design & Implementation of all Talent Development Initiatives
  • Assist with Performance Management Process
  • Lead initiative to purchase and implement a Talent Management System

Experience & Education Guidelines

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or closely related field
  • At least three years Human Resources generalist experience, with talent acquisition and HR Compliance experience.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills both one-on-one and in speaking before a group; strong written communication skills are also required with the ability to independently compose clear explanations and messages to staff
  • Approachability – an open mind and welcoming atmosphere and patience so that employees are comfortable in seeking help / guidance in regard to their benefits
  • A strong detail orientation and commitment to producing accurate information the first time
  • An uncompromiseable commitment to integrity and ethical behavior and the ability to keep information confidential
  • A strong service-orientation and prior proven success in handling heavy customer service responsibilities
  • A commitment to continual learning and development
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office a must
