Morris-Jenkins is looking for a Business Analyst that will report directly to the CEO, Mr. Jenkins, as an Executive Assistant.  The Business Analyst’s primary responsibility will be to provide analytical reporting to the CEO, as well as provide analytical support to various business units.  Additionally, you would be managing special projects and providing administrative support to the CEO.

The ideal candidate will be very strong with Excel, detail oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks at once, proactively resourceful, and be extremely mentally sharp.  There will be a Wonderlic test, in which you must score towards the top percentile.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Primarily responsible for providing analytical reporting and administrative support for management team and directly assisting CEO with a variety of projects and tasks.  General Purpose:  Reporting & Analysis, Executive Administrative Support, and Event/Travel/Project Coordination.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Prepares and analyzes data for operational and financial reports
  • Develops, manipulates, and analyzes reporting data to enable business department improvements
  • Administratively supports the CEO, as well as Management team
  • Coordinates or manages projects, as assigned
  • Greets and entertains visitors
  • Prepares correspondences
  • Plans and organizes company events; such as awards dinners, conventions, picnics, holiday parties, up to 200 attendees
  • Coordinates projects, such as office remodeling, expansion, or redecorating
  • Prepares travel arrangements for CEO and possibly others
  • Must be able to maintain professional conduct and appearance in all work situations
  • Ability to travel overnight for 4 days, once per year
  • All other duties, as assigned

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Prior experience with either operational analysis and/or executive administrative support and reporting
  • Strong analytical and consultative skills, particularly in regards to spreadsheets and basic financial accounting principals
  • Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Attentive listening skills, sharp memory, strong organizational skills, and proactive execution
  • Keen ability to work accurately, efficiently, and manage multiple tasks at once
  • Ability to fluently speak, read, and write in the English language
  • Valid local driver’s license with acceptable driving record
  • Acceptable criminal background record
  • Abstinence from drugs with clean drug screening results
  • Able to lift up to 30 pounds
  • Reliable and punctual attendance with ability to travel overnight for 4 days, once per year, and frequently start work at 7:00am

PREFERRED JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • 3+ years of experience with either operational analysis and/or executive administrative support and reporting
  • Prior experience and proficiency using Intuit QuickBooks
