Summary

The Safety Assistant is responsible for reporting and maintaining internal records pertaining to all Safety policies and procedures. This position also requires a high level of confidentiality.

Education & Experience

High school diploma or equivalent.

Must possess strong computer skills. Specifically, MS Office.

Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as proper telephone etiquette.

Ability to organize resources and establish priorities.

Must pass company required drug screen, physical and background screening.

Physical Requirements

Must be able to lift, push or pull up to 20 lbs.; must have physical mobility and dexterity to frequently stand, bend, push, twist, kneel, climb, squat, stoop, and reach overhead. Considerable mental/visual concentration, coordinating manual dexterity with mental/visual attention.  Office environment. 

Licensing Requirements

Must maintain a valid driver’s license and have the ability to travel to Coburn’s multiple locations.
