Machinery Services Corp.  has been providing comprehensive industrial services for over 38 years in the New Jersey New York Metro region. Our valued team members service equipment in the industrial, municipal water and wastewater, as well as transportation and other sectors.   

Seeking responsible and motivated individuals with a minimum of 5 years working experience to join our team.

This is a full time position located in the New York Metropolitan area.

Technical Requirements:

A successful candidate will possess technical skills in some or most of following areas:

 

  • Machinery assembly & alignment including rotating & production machinery
  • Millwright/Mechanic experience in hoisting, rigging, installing, setting, aligning, removal, and commissioning of equipment)
  • Disassembly, inspection, repair/rebuild & reassembly in shop or field of all types of rotating and production equipment. Machinist background a plus.
  • Perform Sheet metal and/or Steel Fabrication utilizing associated tools/equipment.(with or without blueprints)
  • Proficient in use of variety of machinist's hand tools, precision alignment & measuring instruments used for set up & operation of machine shop equipment
  • Ability to use equipment to shrink fit bushings, couplings, shafts, sleeves, rings, liners, gears and wheels in the above mentioned repairs/assembly
  • Knowledge of machine and fabricated parts of a wide variety of materials using blueprints, sketches & drawings, or measurements using machine shop equipment to repair or reproduce these parts.

 

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of working experience
  • Must be willing to work overtime, nights, weekends and holidays
  • Strong knowledge and adherence to job site safety
  • Valid Driver’s License(CDL a Plus)
