Job Summary:

The Apprentice Carpenter reports directly to and is fully accountable to the Carpenter Foreman.

Performs any other duties and tasks as may be assigned time to time by the Carpenter Foreman.

Responsibilities:

Completes work as assigned by Carpenter Foreman.

Uses and maintains equipment and hand tools both his own, and those assigned to the project.

Learn how to cut and handle raw lumber for use in framing. 

Assist and learn how to frame and sheet the interior and exterior walls, including wall layout. 

Qualifications:

Prefer a high school education or equivalent.

Must have an enthusiastic attitude and willingness to learn.

Must be physically capable of lifting lumber, framing and finishing work on the job site.

Must have a valid California Driver’s license and reliable means of transportation.
