We are seeking a Project Manager to join our team.  If you are a person who enjoys travel and a challenging position, please read below to see if you are ready to join Koss Construction.

Responsibilities:

Development of overall construction schedule for coordination with internal and external parties to complete project within contract time limits.

Work closely with Koss operations staff to deliver highway pavement products.

Write and produce subcontract agreements.

Maintain daily project diary.

Effectively communicate, written or verbal, the project goals, submittals, changes and disputes with all parties including Koss operations staff, owners, subcontractors and suppliers.

Secure, administer, and execute plans or permits related to traffic control, training, erosion control or other contract commitments.

Process job billing and subcontractor payments.

Ensure accurate reporting of production data.

Monitor job cost data.

Report anticipated revenue and cost information by producing monthly profit and loss statements.

 

Qualifications:

BS in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Construction Management, or related work experience.

Five years of experience in highway construction.

Ability to interpret plans and specifications for complex highway construction projects including grading, drainage, pavement, bridge, erosion control and other scopes of work.

Exceptional organizational skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.

Additional Information:

Must have a valid driver’s license.

Must have a good driving record

Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen

Must be willing to travel 55% to 75%
