Summary: Hunter Contracting Co., a diversified company specializing in civil infrastructure and industrial construction, is seeking a qualified Concrete Patcher for our Structures Group.

 

Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Removes rough or defective spots from concrete surfaces, and patches holes with fresh concrete or epoxy compound
  • Molds expansion joints and edges
  • Produces rough concrete surface with broom
  • Breaks up and repairs old concrete surfaces

Physical Requirements:

  • While performing the duties of this Job, the Concrete Finisher is regularly required to stand and use hands
  • Frequently required to walk and reach with hands and arms.
  • Occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
  • Must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
  • Ascending and descending ladders or stairs is required
  • Movement on uneven terrain is occasionally required to carry out essential duties.

Qualifications:

  • 2 years minimum experience in Concrete Patching.  Civil or Industrial environment strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of concrete fabrication techniques. 
  • Ability to verify levelness or verticality. 
  • Ability to work without close supervision and be able to adapt to a wide variety of conditions. 
  • Takes pride in craftsmanship. 
  • Works within precise standards of accuracy. 
  • Prioritizes work to meet goals and/or deadlines. 
  • Practice good safety habits.
