Job Summary

We have exceptional technicians tat deliver the most efficient, highest quality customer experiences in residential and commercial plumbing repair and installation. We also do new construction projects as well. We offer either type of plumbing trade here at Cactus. 

As a plumbing apprentice, you will work as part of a dynamic and passionate team directly under a licensed tech to demonstrate technical competency and ensure desired sales metrics. You will assist the tech diagnose and repair plumbing issues. 

The position will be based in our office, with opportunities to travel to the market you are working in. 

Job Responsibilities

• Assist in plumbing, drain cleaning and other related in-home, service calls.
• Must have all paperwork and time sheet turned in the following morning. 
• Follow the outline of company policies and procedures.
• Know how to assist the tech to sell the right products and services.
• Communicate professionally and respectfully with customers, office staff and coworkers.
• Educate yourself and observe the tech in invoice, finance, and maintenance plan process.
• Understand the sales criteria and hold yourself accountable for exceeding your goals.
• Arrive on time for work each day.
• Show yourself as professional and knowledgeable to succeed and show your tech you are coachable and learning. 
• Every morning find out from dispatch or service manager who will be assisting and prepare the water jug and/or truck. 
• Work alongside the techs and dispatch to ensure overall success of the business. 
• Maintain a clean, organized job site and help the tech have well inventoried truck. 
• Dress appropriately and look presentable at all times.
• Listen and assist all you can to ensure quick, accurate repairs and installations. 
• Help maintain and promote a high company moral, professional, and friendly work environment.
• Always be one step ahead of the tech you are assisting. 
• Be accurate and timely with timecards and any paperwork you are required to do. 
• Work hard, smart and efficiently.
