Who we are:

Central Power Systems & Services (CPS&S) is the only authorized distributor for Allison Transmissions, Detroit Diesel, and MTU and Mercedes engines in Kansas, Missouri and Northern Oklahoma. CPS&S has been serving the Commercial Equipment needs of the lower Midwest region with top quality On-Highway, Industrial and Power Generation products and services since 1954.

What you’ll do:

In this unique opportunity, you will be apart of a team that rebuilds off-highway MTU engines - everything from diagnosing to full repairs to operating the dyno to make sure the engine is ready for use! In order to succeed in this position, you will need to have a mechanical aptitude, eagerness and ability to learn and a positive attitude! Good communications skills and the ability to utilize your own hand, air and electrical tools is a must. It is also important that you possess the ability to work both independently and in a team environment. 

The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience working in a mechanical field, preferably engine work
• Positive attitude and eagerness to learn
• The knowledge and ability to repair engine components.
• The knowledge and ability to consistently repair components and equipment in line with dealers and manufacturers standards.
• The drive and responsibility to work independently.
• Own set of basic hand tools
