Position: Revit Modeler
Location: Avon, Colorado
Description:
BG has an opportunity for a skilled modeler/drafts person who is proficient with Autodesk Revit platform. This opportunity is based in our Avon office. We are seeking a self-motivated individual looking to join a diverse team with colorful personalities. The ideal candidate will possess the capabilities of collaboration, competence, and most importantly a genuine curiosity (in the AEC industry). This position requires coordination and communication across multiple office locations in our effort to create the utmost quality construction documents.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed drawings from rough sketches, design redlines, general engineering, and design information via verbal and written instructions.
- Setup and process 3d models for creation of MEP construction documents.
- Understand and adhere to company’s modeling and drafting standards.
- Maintain and ensure drawing accuracy and completeness.
- Publish and coordinate drawing deliverables according to project schedules.
- Maintain documentation and follow electronic filing protocol.
Qualifications:
- Possess 3-5 years’ experience with Autodesk Revit Platform
- Familiar with AutoCAD 2010 or later.
- Understand .dwg X-reference protocol.
- Demonstrate a complete understanding of Revit Systems creation
- Exhibit a high level of Revit View Template utilization.
- A developed understanding of Revit’s Visibility/Graphics Functionality.
- A complete skill set using Microsoft Office.
- Windows 7 OS literacy is an absolute must.
- Able to work and adapt in a deadline driven environment.
- Ability to read and understand construction documents.
- Familiar with plotter & publishing tasks.
Experience and Education:
- 2 year Associates Degree in Architectural or Mechanical Drafting or higher
- 2+ years’ experience working with MEP Engineers or Architects
- Design/drafting of Mechanical and Plumbing Systems a plus
