We are currently searching for an experienced Plant Operator to join our South Shore Asphalt team of talented employees!

Job Duties:

  • communicating with the Plant Foreman, Superintendent, and Operators
  • conducting daily startup,  shutdown, and maintenance procedures
  • performing equipment inspections
  • following all safety procedures

Physical requirements:

  • The ability to work outdoors in extreme conditions such as cold, heat and humidity
  • Able to individually lift and carry up to 50 lbs and pull or push up to 70 lbs
  • Observe all safety protocol

Experience/Skills Required:

  • Candidate should have experience with servicing and maintenance of a high production facility.
  • Mechanical/Electrical/Inventory Control/Scheduled Maintenance experience necessary
  • Controls experience a plus
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • should have strong mathematical abilities, functional computer knowledge, and attention to detail.
  • Prior industrial experience and mechanical/electrical skills are a plus.
