Sullivans, Inc. is a leading wholesaler of holiday and floral, home decor and gift, with our home office and warehouse located in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.  We are currently seeking full-time ORDER PROCESSOR to help in the warehouse.

Sullivans, Inc. is looking for a hard-working, self-starter who is dedicated to making our warehouse the best in the industry! The job involves picking items from warehouse shelves and packing those items in shipping cartons to be sent to customers.

Here's what you'll get to do:

• Push cart through warehouse aisles: remove designated product from storage areas, make sure items and quantities are correct by checking manufacturer’s label, computerized label, or handwritten label.
• Label, bag, box, or wrap items and affix appropriate shipping labels to carton.
• Once order is checked and verified, finish the packing for shipment and place order on conveyor so that labels are clearly visible to scale operators.
• Assist with other tasks as needed, including inventory, general cleaning and maintenance, stocking, assisting customers with orders, repairing and re-labeling products, preparing and packing samples, etc.

Here's what you need to be successful:

• Must be at least 18 years old (High School Diploma preferred)
• Must be able to read and follow instructions, labels, numbers and pick tickets correctly
• Must be able to count and compare numbers quickly and accurately
• Must be able to accurately select products (silk flowers, ornaments, glassware, giftware, home décor, etc.)
• Must be able to work efficiently and cooperatively with co-workers
• Must be able to walk/work 8 hours a day while pushing a 4-wheel cart being loaded with merchandise
• Must be able to frequently bend, reach for products and lift boxes. Must be able to pack boxes, tape boxes shut, and lift boxes from cart to conveyor. (Most products pulled from shelves are under 10 lbs, but can be up to 50 lbs. Most packed cartons to be moved from cart to conveyor are 35-45 lbs, but some cases are up to 50 pounds or higher. Order processors must be able to regularly lift up to 50 pounds by themselves, and may request assistance for items exceeding 50 pounds.)
• Background/reference check as well as pre-employment physical and drug screen are required.

This is a regular, full-time, hourly position.  You'll receive overtime when you work more than 40 hours/week.  

Hours: 8am - 4:30pm Monday thru Friday (occasional overtime)

Starting Pay:  $12.00/hour.  Eligible for our comprehensive employee benefits following the successful completion of 60-day introductory period.
