Incoming engineers will:

  • Receive broad experience in the design-build world of construction
  • Balance office experience with critical job‐site experience
  • Work in different parts of the country and in a variety of geologic environments
  • Learn to understand exploration reports, construction drawings and specifications
  • Learn the many techniques and applications of geotechnical construction

You will be given on-site assignments that will allow you to to learn the many facets of geotechnical construction, including on-site quality control, and project management. In-office assignments will introduce incoming engineers to design, estimating, and business development.

These positions will involve travel. 

When working on construction sites, you will be provided a hotel or apartment with the project team and will receive per diem payments to cover meals and incidental expenses.

Within the first few years, incoming engineers will receive a well-rounded introduction to our company and our industry. 

Qualifications:

Applicants should be graduates in Civil Engineering or Construction Management and authorized to work in the US. Preference will be given to candidates specializing in geotechnical, structural, or construction areas as well as those with a Masters degree.

Knowledge and Abilities:

• Basic knowledge of bidding and job costing procedures
• Knowledgeable in structural and geotechnical designs related to our techniques
• Knowledge in use of sales lead software 
• MS Word, Excel and Outlook relative to reporting site construction and engineering activities

Physical Requirements:

• Lift, carry, pull and push at least 40 pounds
• Travel per the company travel policy, often overnight and away from home

• Converse effectively using both verbal and written communication.
• Make decisions and assume accountability
• Concentrate on tasks
• Demonstrate ability to manage stress and emotions as related to the workplace
