We are now hiring for Liquor Merchandisers. The Liquor Merchandiser is responsible for providing in-store support and merchandising for off-premise liquor and wine sales divisions.
The schedule for this position is Tuesday through Saturday.
Responsibilities Include:
- Communicate with and take direction from account personnel, management, sales representatives and delivery personnel on a regular basis
- Reports problems in the proper time frame
- Inventory and reorganize back stocks, refill cold boxes, shelves, displays and dust product as needed
- Build displays that meet supplier and company guidelines
- Work with sales representative and chain division to execute and merchandise all monthly chain programs
- Maintain proper product rotation on all date sensitive products
- Maintain and update in store point of sale
- Assist all divisions in display reset projects as needed
- Assist sales representatives with rebates and coupons within assigned accounts as needed
- Attend product and business training sessions and sales meetings as needed
- Maintain an inventory of current POS and coupons in vehicle
- Other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Include:
- One year’s previous experience in related field (distribution, hospitality, supplier or beverage industry) preferred
- Ability to work independently
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as persuasion skills
- Knowledge of liquor industry and its retail consumers is preferred
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record is required
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift, carry, push and pull up to 40 pounds on a regular basis and up to 160 pounds on an occasional basis
