Croell, Inc. is privately held regional construction company with over 100 multi-state locations. We are a major producer of concrete and asphalt road construction in the Midwest and are currently looking for a highly motivated, experienced and productive individual to join our operations as a Diesel Mechanic with 2 years experience preferably with Redi Mix Trucks.  This position offers an hourly wage of $20 per hour if the correct qualifications and experience are met.  You can apply in person at 48 Industrial Lane, Sheridan, WY, apply online at www.croell.com or call 307-673-1209. Applicant must possess the following skills:

• Perform a full range of repair and modification work on heavy equipment vehicles to include, but not limited to dozers, trucks, backhoes, excavators, loaders, diesel trucks, redi-mix trucks and semi-trucks.
• Replace tires, wheels, wheel bearings, idler wheels, idler bearings and oil seals; replaces suspension arms, torsion bars, stabilizer bars, etc.
• Able to repair hydraulic and air brake systems
• Determines nature and extent of repairs required, performs major and minor repair on engines, power transmissions, transfers and related electrical, fuel and hydraulic components
• Uses technical manuals and other publications to identify and order repair parts
• Operates and inspects machines or equipment to diagnose defects
• Examines parts for damage or excessive wear, using testing equipment such as compression testers, motor analyzers, test meters, micrometers, gauges and overall strong diagnostic skills
• Tests overhauled equipment to ensure operating efficiency before being released to field
• Ensures equipment preventive maintenance is performed timely, thoroughly and correctly at all times
• Must have ability to teach, coach and work with a team, in a constructive manner
• Willingness to perform duties outside normal scope of work (in the field, outside normal hours, etc.)
• Must consistently keep shop clean and organized to promote professionalism, safety and efficiency
• Must have urgency to make safety the main priority while working on equipment and ensuring all equipment released to the field meets or exceeds all DOT standards

The following skills are preferred:

• Class CDL B with air brake endorsement
• Accreditation from school of mechanics or 3+ years working with heavy construction equipment
• Cutting and Welding experience
• Light fabrication skills
