This is a full-time, salary position working out of North Caolina. This is a challenging opportunity for a self-motivated and determined individual who desires to work for a fast-paced, hands-on, growing construction company.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare QC Plan for Government approval and implement the QA/QC management system at site
  • Complete and coordinate the approval of the sites QC technical submittals to the customer
  • Schedule and coordinate all internal and external quality inspections for the project
  • Coordinate and ensure with all the site subcontractors and vendors that quality requirements for the contract are met
  • Coordinate with the customer’s representative on all quality matters
  • Prepare, document and transmit daily, weekly, and monthly reports to the Government client   
  • Coordinate and chair the QA/QC site weekly meetings with the project subcontractor’s QC personnel
  • Distribute relevant QA/QC documentation to site subcontractors
  • Verify that the quality-related site activities are in accordance with the applicable codes and standards
  • Participate in the site’s internal and external site audits
  • Coordinate all the quality site inspections through the site QC inspectors
  • Ensure all quality control documentation is compiled and competed for as-builts   
  • Control all nonconformance reports and undertake remedial action
  • Complete site quality control instructions and action remedial responses
  • Review the contract documentation and undertake all required applicable relevant training  
  • Coordinate with the site construction manager on all quality issues
  • Ensure Site Safety Plan is adhered to at all times
  • Assure all technical documents relative to site quality control are current status

Requirements:

  • Fifteen years of construction experience with progressive roles
  • Five years in Federal QC roles
  • Proficient with Army Corp of Engineers QMS/RMS 
  • US citizenship
  • No Felony convictions within the last seven years
