JOB SUMMARY:

The Guest Service Representative is considered a mall expert and is expected to have great knowledge of the mall layout and amenities. This role is the primary point of personal contact for Guests seeking information, assistance and shopping & dining recommendations. The Guest Service Rep will support Marketing activities to help Guests take advantage of current offerings and connect with our Center, demonstrate a passion for providing service at a luxury level, ensuring every guest's needs are met and their experience is memorable and continually look for ways to personalize the guest experience and go the extra mile.

The Guest Service Representative will:

  • Be responsible for driving the sale of AMEX Gift Cards and enrollments in the shopping center reward program (PREIT Perks)
  • Act as a Brand and Service ambassador within the center to promote PREIT’s Services, Amenities and Events.
  • Assist Marketing team with events and marketing activities.
  • Define, communicate, and maintain high standards of the guest experience at all times.
  • Provide a luxury lifestyle experience for all PREIT guests as they visit the shopping center.
  • Courteously and knowledgeably provide information and resources by proactively identifying guests’ needs and desires; answer questions about mall layout, events, retailers, hours of operations, dining options etc., provide directions. Actively seek out and assist guest within the center about mall layout, events, retailers, etc.
  • Walk mall during peak shopping hours to assist and interact with shoppers and retailers
  • Review walking area for possible hazards due to spills, debris, etc. for risk management
  • Keep current knowledge of mall layout and active/upcoming retailers and merchandise
  • Maintain the ambiance, style and cleanliness of the Guest Services Desk.
  • Attend to other administrative duties as assigned.

Qualified Applicants Will Have:

  • Organizational skills, detail oriented, strong interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Two or more years of previous retail, customer service/concierge or sales experience required.
  • Genuine passion for providing excellent customer experience.
  • Working knowledge of Internet, App based programs, Microsoft Office and Apple iPad required.
  • Must have proper phone etiquette and be capable of using a multi phone line system
  • Experience working in a fast paced environment that requires strong communication and follow up with all guests and employees.
  • Flexibility and mainly nights, weekends and holidays availability.
  • Ability to work independently or with a team in a collaborative way
