This is a full-time, hourly position working on a jobsite in Tampa, FL . This is a challenging opportunity for a self-motivated and determined individual who desires to work for a fast-paced, hands-on, growing construction company.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Perform general office duties
  • Set up and maintain standard project files: general correspondence/filing, submittals, subcontractor/purchase order agreements, vendor files, and Prolog Company set­up files
  • Type and distribute project correspondences
  • Order office supplies and maintain office supply closet
  • Provide new vendors with credit applications and references
  • Obtain new vendor request form, W-9 and certificate of insurance from new vendors or subcontractors
  • Set up drug screening, background check and physical for potential new hires
  • Code company credit card charges and match up documentation
  • Enter employee-owner expense reports
  • Maintain employee-owner contact information in corporate public folders
  • Facilitate delivery and tracking of benefits documents for HR
  • Distribute paychecks, pay stubs and other HR documents to field personnel
  • Provide notary services as needed
  • Coordinate job site functions
  • Track and follow-up every week on all purchase orders and subcontracts, including change orders
  • Assist job site Superintendent with the procurement of all required job site postings
  • Assist job site Superintendent with the tracking of equipment inspection reports and preventative maintenance
  • Provide reminders in a timely fashion when documentation and hour meter readings are required
  • Complete all other general office duties as assigned by Project Manager

  Requirements:

  • Above average ability to deliver on commitments within expected guidelines and timeline expectations
  • Strong computer skills – proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Self-motivated and internally driven with the ability to problem solve
  • Organized and committed to following through with tasks and commitments
  • Accurate, detailed and self-motivated

  • Bilingual preferred
