We are looking to grow our loyal, career driven, and customers focused team, and are currently recruiting for a Lead Warehouse Person to work at our Distribution Center located at 240 Kindig Lane, Hanover, PA on the Week Night Shift. The primary responsibility of this position holds the individual responsible for supervising and training all week day warehouse personnel to execute the daily goals of the shift.

The qualified candidate for this position will be responsible to oversee and execute the operational goals for the assigned shift, including supervising and training all week day warehouse personnel. This position reports to the Week Day Warehouse Supervisor. Other responsibilities include but, are not limited to the following:

Primary Responsibilities:

• Designates shift assignments to loading crew.
• Checks and assures trailer number assignments and door assignments to ensure proper deliveries.
• Assists the loaders, pickers, and unloading in daily functions to ensure optimum shift efficiencies.
• Investigates, documents, and reports all necessary shift incidents to 240 Supervisor.
• Confirms finished orders on the computer and ensures accuracy of shipments.
• Monitors and helps to maintain the daily shortages on trailers.
• Communicates with the appropriate facilities to assure that timely trailer and product needs have been obtained to ensure efficient fulfillment of orders.

• Monitors and signs-off on finished orders to ensure 100% cube utilization of all outbound trailers completed on the shift.
• Initiates process improvement and provides advice and recommendations to supervisor upon request.
• The ability to safely operate a forklift is required.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and training all week night warehouse personnel to execute the daily goals of the shift. Supervisory skills such as the ability to lead others, effective coordination of work flow and the ability to meet deadlines are key areas for success. Must be flexible in order to accommodate and support other shifts in the event of vacation or illness. The position reports directly to the 240 Kindig Lane Supervisor.  As Lead Warehouse Person this candidate will be required to work Tuesday - Friday from 5:18 PM to 5:18 AM.
