As our CEO you will provide visionary leadership and continue to drive the managed growth of the organization. Working in conjunction with the executive management team, updates the roadmap and addresses opportunities and challenges facing the organization. The development and implementation of a strategic plan including goal setting through action planning is a primary function. Works with employees to align the tactics of departments and their work with the strategies and goals of the organization. Provides strong fiscal leadership and implements financial development programs including the creation of new, short- and long-term revenue streams. Supports ongoing development of a positive environment and culture that allows us to fulfill our mission. Involvement in community events, participation in credit union leagues and organizations, and cultivating relationships with key stakeholders within our communities and industry is expected. Other duties and responsibilities required commensurate with position. The position reports to the Board of Directors.
Qualifications include:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or Finance required. MBA preferred; Equivalent experience in a senior management position(s) will be considered
• Successful candidate will have 5-10 years of proven experience in executive leadership with a credit union or similar financial services organization demonstrating operational excellence
• Merger and acquisition experience a plus
• Thorough knowledge and experience in all aspects of a financial institution including accounting policies and practices, strategic planning, investments, human resource and management, marketing, and regulatory requirements
• Proven track record creating strategic plans and inspiring others to work toward their achievement
• Change and innovative leadership are essential
• History of recruiting/selecting highly qualified senior staff and developing them into an effective team
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and demonstrated effectiveness in utilizing them
• Able to embrace and lead change
