What do we need at ConstructConnect? 

The Marketing Data Administrator will provide administrative support for marketing tools, specifically marketing automation tools, and Salesforce.com to help grow ConstructConnect’s revenue. Working primarily with the Salesforce.com Administrator and others on the marketing and sales teams, this position will ultimately enhance sales effectiveness through lead nurturing, lead scoring, sales processes, and reporting.

What will you do at ConstructConnect?

  • Build lead-nurturing programs using our marketing automation tools; setup and execute tactical tasks associated with customized landing pages, e-mail campaigns, segmentation, and lead-scoring rules. Use various databases and reporting tools such as ConstructConnect internal reports, Salesforce.com and Marketo to support activities.
  • Support the Salesforce.com administrator, including data management, field mapping, processes, and reporting.
  • Optimize the integration of marketing tools with Salesforce.com.
  • Perform and report on A/B testing on all elements of our marketing mix (lists, e-mail templates, landing pages, offers, etc.).
  • Prepare monthly marketing reports (standard and customized).

What skills and experience do you need to be successful in this role? 

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline (e.g., arts, computer science, business, marketing, etc.)
  • 2+ years’ experience in marketing assistant or administrative support role
  • Experience with marketing automation tools and/or Salesforce
  • Ability to work with databases to secure, analyze, interpret and report on data; understand relational database systems supporting all marketing activities
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and ability to manipulate data in Excel
  • Above-average listening, written, and verbal communications skills
  • Ability to thrive in an fast-paced work environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Great attention to detail; highly organized yet able to see the “big picture”
  • Is very process-focused, organized, and detail-oriented
  • Enjoys tinkering with software applications and has an insatiable curiosity for exploring what’s possible
  • Enjoys finding new features and functions that make software even more useful and effective
  • Is a team player and fast learner who proactively tackles challenges

What are the Physical Demands & Work Environment? 

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the working day
  • Needs to occasionally move about the office to communicate with staff and attend meetings
  • Constantly operates a computer
  • Frequently communicates verbally with peers and management
  • Must be able to analyze detail close-up
