Job Description:

The Apprentice Install Technician is responsible for working with the Lead Install Technician to ensure the on-time, high-quality installation of HVAC/R equipment, duct systems, fittings, grilles, registers, diffusers, controls, and related equipment.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist lead technician with Installation of  residential and commercial HVAC equipment and systems and ensure this is done up to local code standards
  •  Assist with Identifying current and potential problems during the installation that might affect current or future performance
  • Gather equipment and part information and perform associated start up
  • Complete necessary paperwork: daily reports, timesheet, material requests
  • Maintain accurate and complete list of job materials used
  • Keep entire work area neat and organized and free of debris to ensure safe work environment

Requirements:

  • High school graduate or GEB
  • Basic Mechanical Skills
  • Willing to complete the Requirements of an approved HVACR training program

Preferred:

  • Universal CFC Certified by the end of the 1st year of employment
