IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR:
Project Controls Manager
Location: Montrose, CO
PRIMARY FUNCTION:
- Provide system analysis, design, development and deployment of BI applications. Database administration required.
- Design and delivers end-user training; provide technical support as necessary.
- Will leverage data integration and BI Tools to deliver timely and reliable enterprise information to users.
- Provide thorough documentation of all BI applications and processes to be used in the event of equipment/system failure.
- Assist in the integration efforts for merging BI platforms with enterprise systems and applications.
- All integration initiatives will support the construction management process by providing users with simple, effective tools for decision making.
- Develop and trouble shoot standard and ad-hoc reporting.
TYPICAL DUTIES:
Strategy & Planning
- Plan, execute and manage the integration of new applications into existing network infrastructure, systems and software throughout the enterprise
- Support the development of long-term strategic goals for integration systems and applications in conjunction with department managers and end-users
Development & Deployment
- Research and make recommendations on new integration projects and initiatives
- Evaluate, configure and deploy new integration tools, and/or enhancements to existing infrastructure, throughout the enterprise as needed
Operational Management
- Field incoming help desk calls from users to resolve issues pertaining to data integration systems, reporting applications and BI tools
- Work diligently to improve business processes via integration, and/or minimize the impact of integration efforts on existing processes
- Evaluate results of integration projects, make recommendations based on findings, and work with business users and department managers to further improve results

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, QUALIFICATIONS, & EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field, or in Business Administration combined with technical focus or relevant experience.

- Ability to work independently on a regular basis
- Capacity to multi-task, self-prioritize, and deal effectively with changing requirements.
- Perform mathematical operations quickly and accurately
- Work within set limits and standards of accuracy
- Use logical step-by-step procedures in work
- Rate information according to standards which can be measured or checked
Physically workers must be able to:
- See well (either naturally or with correction)
- Speak and/or hear well for some jobs;
- Use arms, legs and hands fully if performing fieldwork;
- And in some jobs, coordinate eyes and hands to use computer keyboard.
