We are seeking a Concrete Paving Foreman to join our team.  If you are a person who enjoys travel and a challenging position, please read below to see if you are ready to join Koss Construction.

Responsibilities:

  • Directly supervise paving activities
  • Ability to develop plans for paving projects
  • Manage a team while maintaining budget expectations
  • Maintain all paving equipment in first-class condition
  • Maintain a team atmosphere while working under the pressure of a deadline
  • Maintain highest level of quality of construction, including smoothness, joint construction, texture, consolidate and proper thickness
  • Maintain highest level of safety in all construction activities; enforce all company safety rules and company policy

Qualifications:

  • Experience with paving equipment and tools
  • Mechanical ability and able to troubleshoot equipment problems
  • Supervisory experience
  • Reporting experience; involving, budgets on a daily and monthly basis
  • Knowledge of safety standards set by OSHA

Additional Information:

  • Must have a valid driver’s license – CDL would be a plus
  • Must have a good driving record
  • Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen
  • Must be willing to travel
  • Our employees live in various parts of the U.S. and travel with their division to jobsite assignments
