C&C Myers Heating, AC, Plumbing & Drains, Charleston’s preferred home services company, has grown from six to almost 70 employees in the past six years and is now actively looking to fill several more positions due to growth. These positions include HVAC service technicians, installers, plumbers, customer service, inside sales, dispatching and general administration.

The function of this position is to:

Work side-by-side with our seasoned plumbers and learn the trade on a daily basis.
Be willing to participate, follow, help and assist the assigned mentor
Perform tasks as requested, including running parts, maintenance and filling out office paperwork.

As continued education and learning is being percieved as successful, you will:


Provide routine maintenance and basic services regarding plumbing repairs and installations under the supervision of the mentor or Sr. Plumbing Technician.
Assist consumers by providing information on options for any plumbing and/or electrical need.
Be able to identify and report all issues that arise that would keep the plumbing from functioning properly, present hazards, or can be changed to improve the client’s experience.
Communicate to the consumer on the proper operation and owner’s maintenance of the installed equipment. Answer related questions as to operation, features, and functions to the homeowner.
Perform required documentation for each call, recording recommendations, repairs, accurate readings and observations. Have client sign necessary paper work and collect payments as directed.

Successful candidate will:

Regularly review and monitor progress against goals, and seek assistance as needed.
Communicate effectively with associates, superiors, vendors and customers.
Possess superior interpersonal skills.
Efficiently manage his/her time and schedules.
Be computer literate to the extent necessary to fulfill this function. Knowledge of Excel and Word is required. Should also be very familiar with the use of smart phones, text messaging, and email. 

Clean, neat, professional appearance.
Work and drive safely and be able to recognize and avoid dangerous situations.
