General Description:
Maintain and assist with keeping inventory levels appropriate for production.
Responsibilities:
- Initiate and sustain a cycle counting program with the materials department.
- Assist with a new part identification project.
- Maintain all cycle counting metrics and spreadsheet.
- Cycle count parts in order to maintain inventory levels appropriate for production.
- Assist with Line Side Labeling of parts in order to reduce mislabeling during production.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
- College student going into their Junior or Senior year studying Supply Chain, Business or Organizational Leadership
- Strong problem solving, data analysis, and organizational skills
- Excellent oral and written communication
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software
- Task- oriented, able to work independently and self-starting.
Physical Effort:
Light physical effort- intermittent sitting, standing, walking, no major physical strain
Working Conditions:
Position is both in an office and manufacturing facility. You could be exposed to moderate level noises, fumes, dust, heat and dirt. This position also requires one to work both alone and as a team.
