Job Description:

• Responsible for the overall management of all design operations.
  
• Lead and support the design team members to meet their responsibilities, including NICET Certifications and other necessary training.
• Initiate a team environment within the district.
• Track and analyze budgeted design hours for individual projects.
• Implement or improve policy and procedures for maximum department efficiency.
• Support all operational employees with their duties and responsibilities.
• Review all hydraulic calculations, ensure that all submittals meet codes/specifications, and confirm that the fabrication listings are accurate.
• Assist with solutions for day-to-day operational issues.
• Handle multiple priorities and responsibilities.
  

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of fire sprinkler system design layout.
• NICET III Certification
• Advanced knowledge of the fire sprinkler design software (HydraCAD, AutoSprink, and SprinkCAD).
• Intermediate to advanced computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
• Superior written and verbal communication skills.
• Work effectively with a wide variety of people.
