Our history: From three original companies, a single vision

For more than 50 years, we’ve been providing high quality print communications and data services to customers all over the U.S.

Venture Solutions traces its roots back to three pioneers that joined forces to better serve its clients:

• Founded in 1959, SCICOM Data Services was a market leader in custom data services and customer communications for highly regulated industries.
• Corporate Graphics Direct Marketing Solutions (CGDMS), formed in 1970, provided variable print, data processing, mail and interactive services to clients of all sizes.
• Formed in 1972, Venture Encoding was a market leader in printing payment-related documents for the financial industry.

Open Position at Venture Solutions Inc. : 2nd Shift Lettershop Supervisor
Operations Arden Hills, Minnesota

We have a 2nd Shift Lettershop Supervisor opening at our Arden Hills location! You'll oversee our Lettershop and collaborate with Print.

You'll be asked to:

• Have an eye for quality! We're a high-speed variable print data provider, quality is key to our success!
• Supervise approximately 15-20 employees.
• Work with a wide variety of the latest and greatest lettershop/print machines
• Coordinate with the Print Supervisor to accomplish mailings on time and accurately.

Skills:

• 1+ years of experience in lettershop or complex bindery
• 1+ years of supervisory experience (10 + employees) in a fast-paced, quick turn production environment where quality and accountability are key!
• Able to work in a fast paced environment, and prioritize!
• Strong organizational skills so that you can take on projects passed along from the 2nd shift, and able to transfer partially completed projects to 1st shift.
• Ability to quickly identify and effectively address, manage, and communicate employee issues with regard to attendance, productivity, quality, or other performance-related areas
• Prior experience with Pitney Bowes, Bell & Howe, Kerns or Sensible Technology strongly preferred
• An Associate's degree or higher
• Experience with postal regulations and/or compliance related operations and standards; e.g. financial, banking, healthcare, etc.
• Knowledge and experience with production practices utilizing ISO 9001 standards, 5S or Lean Manufacturing
