Project Manager

The right candidate will be highly motivated with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while managing quality and consistency of products and service delivery in accordance to Central Consolidated standards providing the customer with an exceptional experience.

Job Responsibilities

  • Manages plumbing and/or HVAC projects for new construction and renovations in commercial and industrial environments
  • Create budgets and assist in the buyout of projects
  • Maintain the project budget, schedule and change management
  • Provide monthly project and cost reports
  • Analyzes and determines needs of customer to decide on necessary scope of work
  • Understand and administer contract and subcontract agreements
  • Identify and resolve conflicts to ensure adherence to schedule
  • Develop and deliver presentations, as well as create, compose, and edit written materials.

 

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management preferred
  • 3-5 years of mechanical project management experience required
  • Must possess the ability to read and understand project plans and specifications
  • Vista for Viewpoint experience preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Visibility requires maintaining a professional appearance and providing a positive company image to the public
  • Must have good reading, writing, and math skills
  • Work requires significant local travel to current and potential clients which requires the possession of a valid state driver’s license
  • Work requires willingness to work a flexible schedule and occasional overnight travel
  • Ability to estimate small projects and work orders required
  • Versed in Microsoft Office, Project or similar scheduling software
  • Provide a projects list with contract size, location, and type
  • Design/Build experience a plus
  • Must pass pre-hire drug screen and basic physical.

 

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance; stoop; kneel, and crouch. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust and focus. The employee is occasionally exposed to extreme temperatures.
