Job Description:

  • Consult with hiring managers regarding the current and anticipated hiring needs.
  • Develop recruiting specifications and determine most effective recruiting methods and sources to attract candidates.
  • Develop advertisements for open positions and place ads in the most effective media.
  • Build relationships with college placement offices, alumni offices, and college engineering departments.
  • Review resumes/applications, conduct screening interviews, and recommend final candidates to the hiring manager.
  • Schedule technical interviews with the hiring manager.
  • Guide hiring managers in salary negotiations with candidates.
  • Attend job fairs.
  • Maintain applicant database to ensure compliance with local state and federal laws.

Required Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • At least 1 year of experience recruiting in a technical field.
  • Experience working with sourcing tools (Careerbuilder, LinkedIn Recruiter, Monster, Dice, etc.)
