AIM Aerospace in Renton is looking for a full time Payroll Clerk, Monday through Friday. The minimum starting hourly rate for this position is $15.00 per hour DOE.
Job Description:
Maintains HRIS and Payroll system records ensuring the integrity and accuracy of data input by performing the following duties.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
Responsibilities Include:
- Maintenance of HRIS, Time Clock, and Payroll systems and set up of employee records/files
- Processes all employee new hires, terminations and personal data changes
- Data input on changes to payroll records including benefits, taxes, wage garnishments, loan payments and all employee related payroll deductions
- Records data in HRIS and Payroll systems for all department transfers and supervisor changes
- Compiles bi-weekly payroll data such as hours worked using time card collection and polling of electronic time keeping systems and electronically transmits data for paycheck generation
- Prepares and electronically transmits 401k reports on a bi-weekly schedule
- Reviews wages computed and corrects errors to ensure accuracy of payroll
- Prepares periodic reports on earnings, taxes, and deductions
- Keeps records of leave pay and non-taxable wages
- Processes employment verifications
- Performs all other Payroll and Human Resources related duties as required and assigned

Education and/or Experience:
One-year certificate from college or technical school; or one or more years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
