We are currently seeking a Utility Arborist/Work Planner to join our team.

Starting at over $15.50/hr. (Minimum 40hr/week)

Responsibilities:
- Survey vegetative condition of utility right of ways and identify the work necessary to clear them to the utility provider’s standard.
- Communicate utility’s vegetation management plan to customers.
- Counsel customers about compatible plant species to place near power lines.
- Input planned work into GIS based software
- Perform various duties assigned by utility foresters.
- Assist with storm damage assessment.
Qualifications:
- Valid Driver’s license.
- Bachelor’s degree in Forestry/Natural Resources related field required.
- Thorough knowledge of woody plant species, including but not limited to, ability to identify and knowledge of growth characteristics.
- Ability to work outside in a safe, productive manner in all weather conditions.
- Ability to work independently.
- Good organization skills.
- Great verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient computer skills, with background in GIS software.
