HVAC Account Manager
Department: Service Department
Reports to: Service General Manager (in coordination with Sales Manager)
Focusing on revenue and margin growth through account management activities, this role will market our full service offering to expand share of wallet within assigned accounts, and will also grow sales via development of new business through targeted acquisition of new customers.
Job functions and duties (other duties may be assigned)
Business Development duties:
- Builds strong, multi-level relationships with customers and is viewed as a solid business partner by identifying needs, creating solutions, and closing sales
- Identifies and captures new market and customer opportunities
- Identifies potential opportunities with existing customers
- Serving as a point-of-contact for the customer, coordinates internal execution of services and work.
- Maintains competitive intelligence and reports changes and issues in competitive landscape to management
- Gathers customer feedback and shares information with team and management as indicated
- Provides business forecasts using CRM system
Acquisition duties:
- Drives new business development through acquisition of targeted accounts
- Assembles and coordinates resources as needed for customers and projects
- Converts leads into opportunities by leveraging the ASEI/Comfort Systems sales process
- Develops and executes an account plan which connects Air Systems’ offerings to the customers’ business objectives
- Consistently uses available tools and software to maintain information and new opportunities
- Presents quotes for full suite of ASEI’s offerings

Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree (preferred, but not required)
- Five+ years HVAC related experience
- Or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Other Requirements
- Abilities:
- Familiarity with HVAC principles and technical applications
- Read, analyze, and interpret information, including blueprints, drawings, equipment specifications, etc.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Effectively present information and respond to questions from internal and external clients
- Use tools and software including spreadsheets, MS Office applications, load and duct calculation software, CRM software, etc.
- Ability to identify customer’s needs and translate into sales opportunities
- Business and financial acumen to understand customers’ needs, relationship potential and profitability
