Our Kansas City client is a small to midsize Business Solutions company. They are growing and looking for strong Business Development professionals to join their team. Bring your hunting and networking skills to a company that truly values their employees and has the resources for your success.
As the Business Development Manager you will:
- Be confident generating your own leads
- Target and contact prospects using a variety of l methods
- Build professional relationships with prospects through networking, communications and interactions
- Provide detailed, thorough understanding of PEO services and quantify the value and benefits to prospects
- Utilize data to position products and services
- Identify prospects’ needs and demonstrate the Company’s back office solutions
- Effectively demonstrate the Company’s positive financial impact to prospects
- Meet individual new business activity and production goals
- Prepare proposals and deliver presentations to prospective clients
- Represent the organization at trade shows and conferences to promote products and services
EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE:
Required
- Bachelor’s Degree in business, communications, sales, marketing or related field
- Minimum 2-4 years related sales experience in B2B environment
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
Preferred
- Prior experience selling PEO, payroll, employee benefits, or HR outsourcing
- Knowledge of workers’ compensation

TOOLS, EQUIPMENT, AND SOFTWARE:
- Demonstrated knowledge of personal computer applications Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Outlook
- Familiar use with Customer Relationship Management systems such as Microsoft CRM
As the Business Development Manager you will receive:
- $50,000 - $75,000 Annual Base Salary
- Uncapped commissions
- Comprehensive Benefits Package
- Mileage and Expense Reimbursement
