Summary of Position: Reporting to the Branch Operations Manager, the Account Manager is responsible for sales to installed base customers and new customers within an assigned territory. Responsible for managing and generating targeted sales of Company products and/or manage services to these companies, coordinating sales proposals and presentations, providing product information, and quoting customer prices.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Sell products and manage services to installed base and new customers within assigned territory
- Develop on-going revenue stream from existing customers
- Coordinate and provide input to bid process, proposal generation and customer pricing
- Maintain customer relationships, make presentations and provide product support
- Develop sales strategies and multi-year business plan, collaborate teamwork, and delivery of customer success by working with partners
- Build executive relationships, understand customers business, articulate architectures and business strategies, create the demand and close deals
- Demonstrated knowledge of working with complex technical accounts including calls on key decision makers, technical and business influencers required
- Negotiate solutions to issues with peers, partners and customers using a Win/Win philosophy
- Ability to position “end to end” solutions and articulate primary vendor strategies to senior customer executives
- Demonstrated knowledge of a process for running a sales territory, including forecasting, quota attainment, sales presentations, short term, mid-term, and long term opportunity management
- Responsible for all aspects of territory management
Qualifications

Any combination equivalent to BA/BS degree with 3 to 5 years experience in medium to large telecommunication VOIP/Networking sales.

Working knowledge or certifications with Nortel/Avaya is a plus

Ability to assimilate additional complimentary technologies like Video and VoIP

Professional, strong communication and motivational skills coupled with well developed strategic and tactical selling skills

Knowledge of Avaya VOIP, manage services and Cisco networking a plus

Experience selling LAN/WAN/Wireless solutions is a plus

Selling to the healthcare market and knowledge of healthcare solutions is a plus
