Required Skills and Experience

• 2+years background with issuing Preliminary Notices required
• Knowledge of Mechanic's Liens, releases and waivers is strongly preferred
• Knowledge of fair debt, collection management and state commercial laws preferred
• Soft Credit Collections demeanor
• Superior interpersonal and customer service skills
• Excellent communications skills required
• Both verbal and written
• Proficient in English language
• Previous construction or industry related experience is preferred
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office and typing skills
• A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent GED; further education/training/college is preferred

Responsibilities

• Monitor and input needed invoices for tracking preliminary notices
• Monitor customer outstanding receivables
• Internal and external customer follow-up to ensure information has been accurately processed in all systems
• Maintain confidentiality on all corporate and member activities
• Audit accounts for correctness
• May require customer dispute resolution surrounding late payment issues
