Utz Quality Foods is seeking a Retail Sales Associate to work at the Carlisle Street Factory Outlet Store located in Hanover, PA. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service in the Outlet Store; continually restocking and selling company products in the Outlet Store; and.knowing all essential functions of the Outlet Store.

Primary Responsibilities:

•    Assists customers with purchase transactions and purchase decisions by providing excellent customer service.

   Requires setting up registers with drawers and proper change.

   Completes monetary transactions and product returns.

   Completes Daily register balance sheet by counting drawer, depositing money and checks in safe at the end of shift.

   Fills decorator tins / boxes as needed following food safety practices.

   Restocks all items available in Outlet Store as needed. Includes: products, tins, novelty items, drinks, and supplies etc.

   Physically checks in (shop) and puts away all received product on a daily basis.

   Rotates product in Outlet Store by using the product manufacturing codes.

   Labels / stickers product according to promotion schedules.

   Responsible for the overall appearance of the Outlet Store by sweeping, dusting and removing trash.

   Rotates and fills samples that are provided to our customers daily.

   Breaks down all cardboard and places in proper location.

   Weighs and packs all bulk products in cans, caddies, or barrels as needed to maintain acceptable inventory levels.

   Opens and closes Outlet Store on a daily basis. (Full Time only)

   Ensures that at the end of business essential items (lights, registers) are off and appropriate doors are locked. (Full Time only)

   Responsible for quality and food safety tasks for their position.

The qualified candidate for this position must exemplify strong interpersonal and customer service skills when working in the Outlet Store with costumers and other associates. Accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to provide accurate cash and register transactions is essential. This position requires the individual to be at least 19 years of age. Daily lifting and the ability to move up to 10 pounds and infrequently up to 25 pounds is required. The hours for this position are Tues, Thurs, Fri 9:00am-6:00PM; Sun 10:00am -5:00pm.
