We are ROYDAN Enterprises, LTD., an innovator of consumer debt collection software. Roydan combines technological innovation with personalized services helping collection agencies succeed—make their jobs easier, improve productivity, and increase overall profitability. 

As a Software Developer, you would report to the Software Development Project Manager and be a part of a team of six.  Responsibilities will include working with members of the team to design, develop, test, deploy and support ‘new’ software solutions.

Essential Job Duties:

• Participate in all phases of application development lifecycle
• Research potential upgrades/new methodologies/new technologies to be utilized in ROYDAN software solutions
• Create and deploy software versions
• Integrate ROYDAN software solutions with 3rd party interfaces and/or with existing systems
• Perform peer code reviews
• Develop and maintain documentation of software functionality
• Maintain standards compliance
• Provide assistance with support personnel and testers to determine system problems
• Make presentations to customers and peers

Job Scope: This position will work with the other developers and support teams at Roydan to ensure all new development is covered from coding, to testing, supporting and requirements in-between.  This is a team role with autonomous functions.  A successful Developer will be able to utilize interpersonal skills to develop effective and positive working relationships with internal and external clients.

Qualifications and Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS or other related degrees required. 3 plus years of software development skills preferred
• Experience with agile development processes desirable
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Project Applications
• Experience with object oriented programming, such as C#, or ASP.Net
• Experience with languages such as HTML, JavaScript, and CSS are preferred
• Experience with MS SQL databases required
• Knowledge of operating systems: Windows 7, 8.1, 10
• Ability to navigate a Linux system
• Ability to troubleshoot software bugs including determining whether a problem is caused by hardware, network, operating system, or applications issues.
• Ability to define and document technical specifications of software applications
